Real Madrid have agreed to sign RB Leipzig’s young wonderkid Yann Diomandé following lengthy negotiations. The Ivorian winger is set to travel to Spain this week to undergo a medical examination and sign a long-term contract. Diomandé will become the first Ivorian footballer ever to represent Real Madrid.
According to reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos will pay in excess of €100 million to secure the 19-year-old star. Leipzig had previously rejected Real Madrid’s opening offer of €100 million before both clubs eventually reached an agreement.

However, Romano confirmed that the French champions have officially pulled out of the race. Despite having agreed personal terms with the player, PSG stepped back from the bidding war in order to protect their financial discipline and maintain squad balance — a decision that has effectively cleared the path for Real Madrid.
